Wow. This shoe flat out did not disappoint. I made the plunge after browsing for monk strap styles, and personally I have yet to find a single flaw. I’m on my feet for well over 8 hours a day in dress shoes, and these feel virtually like sneakers on my feet. The soles are incredibly gentle on the foot, even on extremely hard surfaces/floors. The leather isn’t too thin, and with three different strap holes to select from, the snugness is basically guaranteed to meet your foot in a really comfortable way. They crease in a very elegant way, so getting onto my toes or driving doesn’t concern me whatsoever either. The white trim is very easy to clean with a simple shoe cleaning cloth solution, (obviously care to not get the leather wet). They’re also simply stunning looking shoes, so they are not constrained into casual styles whatsoever. Highly would recommend!
