My husband wears a size 9 in most shoes. When the Johnston & Murphy loafers arrived, he found the 9’s to be loose. We returned them (easily! with return label.). Reordered an 8 1/2.
The second pair arrived quickly. The smaller size was a better fit. Very handsome shoe.

my size wasn’t available so I thought a size larger could compensate for the smaller width. It didn’t and I had to send them back. I think I was the one who made the error.

My size is 10.5 but I got these size 10 since the others were too big and were slipping especially at the heel. These fit fine. I like the very soft sheepskin insole. These loafers are quite stylish especially with the tassels.

Fit and size were Great. But even better was Zappos customer service. I’d made a mistake in ordering.. made the call, expecting to wait on hold. A human picked up right away .. had a return label to me in less 2 minutes.. and the replacement pair on the way in the same amount of time. I’d definitely use this company again.
