I bought a pair of size 10.5 McGuffey’s for a three week trip to Italy in 2016 and wore them almost every day. Great comfort and arch support. So, with another trip to Italy in a few weeks, I ordered a pair of these in 10.5. When I tried them on, they were too small and I had to return them for a size 11.0. The size 11.00 was perfect and even more comfortable than my old ones.

This is my second pair of same model. Very comfortable almost from the time first put on. I rarely wear a size 8, but this fits perfectly. I usually buy an 8.5 in standard D width so be sure to take a half size down from what you usually buy. The show is durable and worth the cost. Break in takes about 2 hours without blisters!

I love J M shoes. I own no other brand in any style. Currently, 14 pair in the rotation. Never a problem. No break in time. Always look feel great. Also exclusive with your socks too. Recommend: Bring back “brushed” blue McGuffey. I had a pair, then got a puppy. Also, consider 1 extra pair shoe laces with model of shoe using cloth type laces. Just a hope, but not a deal breaker. The Mcguffey Slip-ON is a great shoe very comfortable and looks fantastic. When wearing long pants it passes like I am wearing a boot but it is a low slip on shoe. I have been wearing this shoe for years and it is my go to casual shoe.
