I bought a pair of size 10.5 McGuffey’s for a three week trip to Italy in 2016 and wore them almost every day. Great comfort and arch support. So, with another trip to Italy in a few weeks, I ordered a pair of these in 10.5. When I tried them on, they were too small and I had to return them for a size 11.0. The size 11.00 was perfect and even more comfortable than my old ones.

One of my favorite pairs of shoes of all time. Very comfortable and stylish. I wear the daylights out of them and still as comfortable as ever. One little part of the weave has slightly popped out but hasn’t unraveled more than that. I have worn these for at least 2 years. The leather will age like most j and m leather which I like.

Bought these for my husband. He loves them. The picture makes the shoes look brown but let me assure you. They are black. I own a pair of boots by this company too. The quality they put in is great. Def recommend them.

they look fabulous. I slip them on they felt great and after wearing them for three days the back of both of my heels were bleeding. Many people have posted how they scrape the back of their foot and I would like to attest to that fact. I really wanted to love them but I’m going to be sending them back. Excellent workmanship beautiful design the size was right for me but they just kept riding up on the back of my foot until I need to walk around with two Band-Aids.

Well, the shoes are well made and beautiful to behold. I was very much looking forward to loving them, however as a number of reviewers have pointed out, they rub the back of your heel, and mine was rubbed bloody. So comfortable for about 5 hours then the “rub”, the only way I could have worn them is with thick socks or bandaids…. so they were returned

This was a replacement for a well-worn pair of the same shoe. Third pair. Changes since the last purchase make the shoe less comfortable. Leather upper texture is different, harder. I should have returned them prior to wearing them. I thought I was safe buying same style as previous purchases. I will not purchase online again only in a store.

I’m very impressed with these shoes. I bought a tan and a brown. If I use these as much as I think I will, then black and blue are also in my future. My size 9 foot fits their size 9 shoe perfectly.

This is the second pair of McGuffey shoes that I have purchased. I bought them and a pair of the tan skull embossed shoes and like the skull embossed shoes, they squeak from the INSIDE of the shoe, and I’ve only worn them 4 times over the course of several years. I bought them to wear to Coronado because they are great looking. They just seem to come apart and make noises. I was in a Dillard’s and the person there said that they get a lot of the McGuffeys back. Very disappointed.

The Mcguffey Slip-ON is a great shoe very comfortable and looks fantastic. When wearing long pants it passes like I am wearing a boot but it is a low slip on shoe. I have been wearing this shoe for years and it is my go to casual shoe.
